Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I bought this for the Delta 36-979. The insert that comes with the saw does not accept a dado blade. I ordered this insert and it works well with my 8 inch dado set which goes to 13/16". You must use the screw that come swith your original insert to attach the dado insert, so don't lose it. It fits like it should and obviously very easy to install. I am happy with the product[...]
