i own a sawmill i cut lot of oak, walnut ,poplar went the lumber is dry i can plane it to the thicknees that is need to make a sell the planer does a super job on oak, hemlock i can take a board that has mess up plane it down to save the lumber then i do not have drop the cost of the board. save and make money for me

I have owned a delta portable 12 1 2" planer for 4 months and it has performed just great.it is the thing for running boards which is appt twelve feet long snd twelve inches wide which was taken out of an house which was built in 1864.the boards are an heavy inch and the plsner will just run them and gives great service
