RIKON's 6" Jointer is loaded with features, starting with a powerful 1-1/2 HP, 2-speed motor for clean cuts on every type of wood. The multi-position switch is adjustable to any height and angle. It may also be mounted on either the in-feed or out-feed side of the machine.

first impresion; not so good.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

out of the box, i first noticed chipped paint, lots of chipped paint. Instructions were limited to basic assembly and not much more.Once assembled and adjusted,i turned it on.First thing the belt popped off. When i went to put it back on and check alignment, i notice the angel that the turnbuckle was attached to had bent.Later i noticed the key for the pulley was missing,(installed at factory).I'm going to bring this thing back.
