Approvals and Standards
This respirator is approved by NIOSH under the new 42 CFR 84 respirator certification regulations. This Multi-purpose respirator is approved to the P100 filter class, as well as for ammonia, organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, chlorine dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide (for escape only), formaldehyde, hydrogen fluoride, and methylamine gases.

I am a ceramic artist and a dust mask is a staple in the category of safety items needed in the studio. I bought this mask mainly because it seemed better designed than my old one and it was organic vapor rated. However, it does not come with an easily removable lower strap (the one that goes around the neck) and there is a leak of some sort that I can't find on the left hand side. All I know is that it does not create a solid air seal when I cover the vents with my hands. I would say this respirator is okay, it probably does the job. However, there are better ones out there. Had I used it before the end of return time period was up, I would have returned it.
