No, I would not recommend this to a friend
After about 3 uses this unit will stop feeding line, guaranteed. I bought two of these things and they both had the same problem. B&D is aware of this but continues to mfg the auto line feed, which simply does not work, which says a lot about where B&D has gone in the past 10 years.
