Drop Spreaders are best for seeding a yard due to the consistent metering and distribution pattern of the seed. They are also good for applying granular herbicides near flower beds and shrubs since the distribution is limited to the area between the wheels. This prevents overthrow onto ornamental beds.
175 lb. capacity provides 40,000 sq. ft. coverage. Poly hopper resist corrosion. 42" controlled spread width and 52" O.A. width. 3/4" diameter axle. 14" x 4 pneumatic tires for smooth operation. Spreader setting recommendations for multiple materials included.

Nice design, arrived in good shape. Easy to follow assembly directions. Made well. Only issue is that I'm having trouble keeping the drop opening completely shut. With the lever closed, fertilizer still runs out. I ended up dropping twice the amount required on the very lowest setting. Had I kept the lever closed, it probably would have delivered just the right amount. May require some yankee ingenuity to resolve. The jury is still out for the time being.
