I had to take the flow plate out and sand down the edges and beef up the slide gate angle bracket with bolts and a backer plate instead of the pop rivets in order to get the adjustable flow control to work right and not bind up.
The spreader works great now and should last me a life time. No more cheap plastic gear drive spreaders for this guy!
