[...] I used it on 12/2/07 to attempt to clear three inches of snow from my 20 ft. walkway and 100 ft. driveway. I ended up switching to a manual shovel to complete the job after 15 frustrating minutes of use of the electric snow thrower. You have to press & hold the on button trigger during the entire time of operation. It does not lock. I found this to be awkward & inefficient. During driveway use, the product was very difficult to use in a manner that insured efficient & methodical clearing of snow by adjacent sections of the driveway. Unlike a manual shovel, I could not readily change direction of travel to overlap the last path of snow I cleared as the directions told me to do. I also had to grapple with clearing the extension cord out of the way continually. I also noted that small branch twigs that were covered by snow & not visible to my eye caused chipping of the plastic rotor. Overall I am very, very disappointed. [...]
