I bought the 5x6 storage unit anticipating the dimensions would be 60" x 72"--matching the dimensions of a pre-existing concrete pad I had on my property. I reviewed the instructions and found the dimensions were actually 57" x 74". I spent a couple extra hours anchoring 2x4s to the concrete to match up with shed's dimensions. The 1" overhang on the sides was fairly simple. My shed was to butt up against another building and though I had accounted for the published floor dimensions, my measurements didn't account for the roof. With the roof, the width was closer to 60" instead of 57". It all worked out eventually, but the project would have been simpler if all the dimensions were more obvious in the instructions.
