This item is supposed to keep pets and animals away from areas where it is broadcast. I placed a heavy dose of the granules around the area where I was trying to keep the neighbor dog from using, and he still came ... not only that, he ATE the granules and appeared to enjoy the taste!! Please don't purchase. [...]

After applying, the cat and dog I was trying to discourage were even more attracted to the areas I wanted to protect. I would not recommend this product as an effective deterrent for dogs or cats that are digging up your plantings and landscaping. It just does not work. Big disappointment.

This is a granular, I've also tried the spray but the granular works much better. It is strong and lasts a long time. Even after a 1/2" of rain it still was repelling the cats.

This is the very best product for keeping unwanted cats out of the yard and off the car. I've tried various types of peppers, but they do not last long and the cats return. Try BioDefend and you will be satisfied.

We bought this product to keep our dog out of the flower beds and it was completely ineffective. All it did is leave little pellets in the garden and it gives off a terrible smell. The dog doesn't mind it and continues to go in the gardens and destroy my plants. This was a waste of my money.
