Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Very versatile. But breaks very easily. If you rest the weight on one end of the trimmer and hold the other end the plastic connected will break off. Rendering it not useable.
Also do not drop it on wet grass. The motor will short out.
Saved me 2.5 days of unpleasant work!

I have 400 feet of 8ft cedar hedge to trim every year. It's a 3 day job that I despise intensly and needs the use of a step ladder. The Remington Pole Hedge trimmer cut it down to 1/2 a day and I actually had fun doing it. While I'm a little concerned about the life of the plastic parts, it worked very well and is easy to use. I gave it a 4/5 because of ease of use and time saving.
