I love the concept of adjustable rake tines. They are great for getting lawn debris ( dead leaves, etc.) out from under dense bushes and shrubs. Unfortunately I've yet to find the best constructed product. I purchased 2 rakes with adjustable tines made by another retailer several years ago- the handle was not adjustable which I liked. The design of the plastic locking mechanism which locked the tines in place broke off because my inclination was to push it down to lock, but it was designed to be pushed up to lock and it snapped off. I loaned the second rake to my neighbor . He did the same thing and broke that one! So I ordered your product. Your locking mechanism is locked by being pushed down, so not likley to snap or break. When examining both rakes I purchased and extending their handles, the handles wouldn't lock in place due to a crack in the plastic ring (more like a tube) that surrounds the handle. Sadly, I am returning both defective rakes.
