Good cart, missing pieces
By DogWomanVerified Purchaser from Poconos, PA on 3/5/2008
Pros:
Carrying Capacity, Comfortable Grips
Cons:
Difficult to assemble, Missing cotter pin
Best Uses:
Carrying Other Equipment, Cleaning kennels, Gardening, Hauling feed, Leaves & Brush, Mixing soil
Describe Yourself:
Avid Gardener
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I like this cart's design because I can mix garden soil in it, then dump it in the beds. It's easier to handle for me than a wheel barrow. The cart was a little tricky to assemble, requiring two people since some considerable stress has to be put on the front brace to make the bolt holes line up. A cotter pin was missing from the hardware package.

Exceptional balance w/o losing capacity
By Perennial Garden SalVerified Purchaser from Durham, NC on 8/21/2007
Pros:
Carrying Capacity, Comfortable Grips, Easy to Use, Not a back breaker, Supports Heavy Weights
Best Uses:
Carrying Other Equipment, Gardening, Leaves & Brush, Soil mixtures

Bottom Line:

My brother-in-law, an avid gardener, recommended this item and it is worth every penny. It is easy to handle and maneuver, doesn't cause back strain, and easily supports heavy loads.

One of the best purchases ever made.

Decent, but not great
By DustBumVerified Purchaser from South on 8/16/2007
Pros:
Seems pretty sturdy
Cons:
Balance user effort
Best Uses:
Carrying Other Equipment, Leaves & Brush
Describe Yourself:
Avid Gardener
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

First, item is packaged horribly: everything just kinda stuffed in a rather flimsy box to bang together during shipping. As a result, item arrived pretty scratched up and with nuts and washers missing from bag breaking open. Installation average: one of the holes didn't line up right, but I eventually muscled it into place. Main problem is that during use too much weight is on the back end, requiring a lot of lifting and holding up by user for heavier loads. Could be balanced better. Still, not too bad for what it is.

A must have for mulching
By Garden MaidenVerified Purchaser from Phoenixville, PA on 5/14/2007
Pros:
Carrying Capacity, Comfortable Grips, Easy to Use, Supports Heavy Weights
Cons:
uphill on grass difficult
Best Uses:
Gardening, Leaves & Brush, mulching
Describe Yourself:
garden maintainer
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It tips nicely so when you shovel material in it you don't have to lift up the shovel real high.
I liked how it moved on level ground but pulling it uphill wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Putting it together is also not that easy for novices like ourselves.

Cons:

[...] I consider myself an experienced home handyman. The assembly of this cart was awkward and counterintuitive. The instruction manual is worthless. Put it together and you have a great cart.

With a little help from my husband, we got it together in no time.

I had been waiting to use it, so I started right away. First thing I wanted to do was put some red rock on my walkway through my garden.

I loved how deep this cart is and how easy it was to push and empty.

I have bad hands, so I really appreciate how easy and stable this cart is to push/pull.

Get it... You won't be sorry!
