No, I would not recommend this to a friend
The unit performed well untill the power switch smoked. My wife explained to me "It just stopped." I found the switch melted and replaced it with a heavy duty switch for just on/off instead of off/low/high. The low rectified AC mode was un-necessary.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
After owning a previous Air Stream II for 12 years, this was dissappointing. It was not as powerful, the rectangular nozzle is difficult to direct airflow, it is not long enough. The most dissappointing is that it is difficult to hold and manuever. The back "handle" is really not meant as such, it is meant to slide to convert to a mulcher. If you even touch it slightly it stops the motor. Bring back the Airstream!
