After careful observation, I noticed that ordinary carpenters' pencil need to be sharpened about four times an hour. This sharpening takes about 90 seconds, or six minutes per hour, fully 10% of the work hour. At a modest [$] total cost of hiring a professional carpenter, the savings of using a "Johnson Insta-Mark" over a typical carpenters' pencil amounts to about [$] a day or an incredible [$] a year for each carpenter hired - all this for a [$] investment per carpenter.
I use mine all the time. The only complaint is that when I clip it to my shirt it falls out. Other than that, I would not / could not do with out it. No more ruining knives trying to keep the traditional pencils ready.
Very handy and useful pencil. It's always ready to write and refills are east to install...Don't know why they stopped selling them in my area!!!
I purchased 2 of these pencils 6 years ago. I liked them so much I looked every where for more. I had to go on line and find your product. I brought 6 pencils and gave 2 to friends. These pencils are great and they work in all the diffcult spots other pencils can not perform. I don't know why they are not available in our local hardware stores. These pencils are easy to use and don't need to be sharpned and carry there own spare lead. My 2 friends loved the pencils.
