Very good at providing the needed hands-free, angled lighting under the car, on the catfish line or a hundred other places. If battery life is good, battery cost will balance out over time. Love the 3 power settings to help with that, as well as the LED lights. The light is a little pricey, but if it lasts for a few years, at least, all and all, a great product.

I am sad to say that neither my husband nor my dad liked this flashlight. They have said that it does not put out enough light and requires too many batteries (9 AA)! My husband has a small handheld halogen flashlight that is much brighter. The commercial for this light which was shown a lot during Christmas made it look so cool! Too bad it's not bright enough to be very useful.

Very good tool but it not the best for working on a car. Difficult to set up with the three legs on an engine and then aim. For basic illumination it is great. Con is that it requires 9 batteris for full power but now you have a storeage for the batteries and if you need some it will still work on remaining batteries that fill the legs.
Great, direct light.
I purchased this item for all the men in my family for Christmas gifts. They were all very pleased. My husband has already used it to spotlight dark areas on various jobs around the house. The best part - I no longer have to be the 'flashlight girl' to hold the light!
Wonderful product to give as a gift or for yourself. Everyone can use a flashlight like this.

My husband and one of our friends, an electrician love this! It is so good to have around, it's by our bedside. To have something this bright and adjustable is wonderful
I gave this flashlight as a gift at Christmas. We took it on a camping trip new years weekend and used it to set up camp and cook. The flashlight offered plenty of light and the tripod makes this product great for hands free use. Thanks for a great flashlight.
Little smaller than expected, mini lights are not strong enough
durable practicle product. I use it daily for service calls, camping, traveling.
