Conventional batteries=Longer Lifespan

Pros:
Durable, Good Value, High Quality

B&D power screwdrivers last forever but batteries don't. But those with built-in batteries get trashed because you can't replace the battery part. This unit uses conventional batteries.
1) Replace batteries & keep working instead of having to wait for recharge.
2) Less expensive than rechargable units.
Real work-horse for me. I have several (home, work, etc).
Con: Some rechargable AA batteries don't have a long enough tip at (+) end. Since all Alkaline batteries work I blame the rechargable battery makers.
