My Porter Cable 14.4 cordless has been dropped off rooves, rained on, built decks with thousands of deck screws, and it keeps turning. It is very torquey and powerful - drives 3" to 3-1/2" deck screws in a snap, and can sink the heads in construction-grade lumber all the way to China if you're not careful. The clutch is outstanding when used intelligently. Never slips. I ordered a second one of these drivers just to have in case they become unavailable later. LOVE this tool.

This is a great lifetime homeowner cordless. No real need to to to the higher 18 & 19 volt heavier drills unless you are a contractor. I have one for 5 years and bought another for a gift. The only problem i had was the charger died after 4 years.
