This controller is the best way to control a window A/C unit so it maintains an accurate room temperature. It would be nice if this controller had a longer temperature probe. Since most outlets are near the floor, that is where it reads the temperature. This is a great temperature controller and I plan to buy several more.

I've used these with oil-filled radiator type heaters and they work great. I like the "hold" function best as I can set the temperature and forget it. No more coming home to a hot house because the heater didn't know when to cut off.
Can't wait to use them this summer on my air conditioners as well.

I have two small ceramic heaters inside my 8 x 10 greenhouse that must respond to the actual temperatures inside and without me having to manually adjust them constantly.
With one of these controllers set to maintain 50º and the other set to come on if the temps drop to 45º I have had no problems heating my greenhouse through the winter -- even when the temps fall into single digits.
Greenhouse heating systems are terribly expensive. I couldn't manage my greenhouse heaters without this great product. Very reasonably priced for the ease of use and performance.

I have a server rack in my office which requires cooling 365 days a year, using this outlet I've been able to replace my 2000 watt AC unit with a 70 watt set of fans. Works great and saves $$$

I bought two of these thermostats. I use one in my renovated garage and have it attached to a space heater and it works great. The other one I use in my hobby greenhouse attached to another space heater and it has been working great. The item is very easy to set up and use right out of the packaging.

I bought this unit for a small home office I built behind my house. I love my office, but heating it with a manually-controlled space heater was not working out - cold office in the morning, remember to turn it on, get hot, remember to turn it off, get cold again, etc. I did a [@]search, not knowing if this kind of product even existed. Imagine my surprise to find the LuxPro PSP300! Affordable, VERY easy to program and use. It's made my work life, well, if not easier, much more comfortable!

PSP-300 is perfect for my use--holding about 55-60 degrees F in a bedroom not occupied over the winter (vacation home). With the "swing adjustment" set at 9, I save electricity and with it's battery back-up feature, power outages are no problem. Great product, great features, good value--just bought a second unit for another application.
First PSP-300 arrived about 8 days after placing order in good condition. Customer service was used to track my order for a second unit (out of stock) and that one arrived in a timely fashion in good condition as well.

I bought two of these to control when my room-to-room fans (like a duct fan but installed in the wall) come on. I decided to get two thermostats to control the fans so they only turn on when the bedrooms get warm. Would definately purchase these thermostats again because they were easy to program and allowed me to match the room temperature reading of my house thermostat using the thermostat calibration feature.
In short an excellent product that was easy to program and setup.

Great product. My only complaint is that the temerature is slightly off. It is very easy to compensate though.

I have a 6 x 8 greenhouse this year and needed a way to maintain a temperature on even the coldest of days and nights. By putting the programmable thermostat between my outlet and a space heater the greenhouse has consistently and reliably stayed above freezing, but cool enough that the plants still get a dormant season.

This is a great tool to maintain an (close to) exact temperature in any room. Most portable heaters only come with three settings: low, medium and hot but what does this mean? This thermostat allows you to dial in the temperature
you desire.

The apartment I live in came with an air conditioner, being an older unit I had two choices while I was gone all day...on or off. On ran up the power bill like crazy. Off made home a place I didn't want to return to. This product does what it says and gave me the capability to keep things at a sensible temperature without being home to adjust between On and Off.

Only con I have is that it is big enough so that it blocks the use of the other plug in the outlet for some of the bigger plugs.
Also it says to not use with a heater that does not have a 3 prong (separate ground) plug; but it works with my self grounding 2 prong plug just fine.
The thermostat seems to be very accurate to a degree in turning on and off.
Easy to use, and easy to understand instructions.

Good product. Only thing I would suggest as an improvement an built in extension cord so you can wall mount it. The temperature at outlet-level is usually lower than the average room temp - especially if the outlet is on an outside wall, or hidden away.

It met expectations exactly. The only thing I could wish for is that an extension cord was included along with a way to mount the thermostat at eye-level. But this is a minor thing. The thermostat can be programmed in your arm chair and then just plugged in and works perfectly.

I have a cable modem in an un-airconditioned weather proof box. I use the PSP300 to regulate a cooling fan that is attached. It works perfectly. Also [..]price was very reasonable.
Much better than just using a timer.

The products works as advertized. There are four time settings per week day that control the temperature and a separate four settings for the weekend. I have been using the thermostat for about a month with no problems.
