It's a fan. Yes, it blows out nicely, but the 4924 by Lasko is so loud that it is deafening!..it drowned out our wide screen Tv during an action movie and once turned off, there was silence...I will use it when there is unbearable heat along with the AC but continuous use I'm sure will result in some kind of hearing loss. Try again Lasko!

Adjustable vent position and option to vacillate (rotate) a very big reason I bought this high output fan. There was nothing like it available in any of the stores near me. It moves a lot of air and has adjustable speeds. Built in hand hold makes it east to move. It is a little noisey and a little bit heavy, but no more than other high output fans which dont have the above desireable features. [...] Price was excellent. I would recommend this fan, and would definately do business with this company again. Thanks !

Very happy with fan. This particular fan does not come with a remote, however, still a great fan and it allows for a stationery adjustment, if so desired. We are using it in our bedroom now, but when the extreme heat leaves and we can open our house up, I will be using it in my main living area, as it really does a nice job of cooling.

Loud, Motor bearings crater

Have three of these fans. All become noisey
after a years usage, one rattles just in time for warranty expiration. No spare parts are available from Lasko. Great design, poor motor engineering.
