Fast-Mount Standard Track Uprights
FAST-MOUNT™ is a heavy duty shelving system with a galvanized finish, making it especially suitable for basement or garage applications.
Most unique to FAST-MOUNT™ is its four ways to mount:
- FAST-MOUNT™ hook hangs on the top of a stud wall, block wall, or concrete wall, no screws are required.
- The FAST-MOUNT™ bracket may be mounted to the top plate of a wall, or over wall studs.
- The Horizontal Hang Track may be mounted to the top plate of a finished wall, over stud walls, or to any wall with anchors.
- The Uprights may also be mounted with screws.
FAST-MOUNT™ offers three types of shelf brackets; Single brackets rated a 100 pounds per bracket, Double brackets rated at 150 pounds per bracket, and Supported brackets rated at 300 pounds per bracket.

I bought these to replace the old ones that was damaged by an over loaded shelf support. The mounting holes that recieves the brackets were bent. The shelves are rated 150 lbs. The load was way below that. I guess If I had use one more bracket the damage might have been avoided, but I decided to buy the 22" supported brackets instead just to be safe.
I bought this shelving system for some large utility closets in my basement. I was not concerned about looks. I just wanted something flexible, easy to install, and rock-solid. I'm very pleased. The only shortcoming this system has over other shelving systems is that it does not have a bunch of accessories other than a closet bar. I found that the horizontal track is compatible with similar shelving systems that have the features but otherwise cannot handle the weight. So, at some point I plan to buy some vertical standards from another system and add it to my shelves. One thing to watch out for is that the supported brackets do obstruct shelf space on the shelves below and the closet bar cannot run across a supported bracket. I solved the problem by using supported brackets on the sides and shorter double brackets in the center of the shelf.

These have proven themselves, as I have completely covered the walls of two garages with this system. Using these standards and the wide variey of brackets available, I was able to create a custom shelf installation that will never be obsolete due to its flexability.

If you need a strong, easy-to-install, space-saving system, this is it.
Instead of building bulky 2x4 shelves or installing some stand-alone shelves that don't fit right, go with these. They are so strong I can stand on them.
Good for heavy shop materials, changeable for different materials.

Bought this shelf system originaly from HD for my cube van - worked great! Unfortunatley the truck was stolen and had to have a new box put on and I lost the shelving. HD doesn't carry it anymore and was glad to find it here at Hechinger. Permanantley attached a 250 lb aluminum bender to just two supported brackets and drove around for 3 yrs with no problems. great product!
