These lights are BRIGHT. At first I thought the light was harsh but now that I have used them for a few weeks I wouldn't want to be without them. I started with one and later purchased three more. I use them in my basement workshop. You can't do precision work if you can't see clearly. These lights are much better than florescents. One other thing, I was concerned initially that working directly under the lights would be uncomfortably hot. That has not durned out to be a problem.

I like them better than any other lights for my shop and garage. They put the light where you want it. They do not flood the room, but direct the light and concentrate it. High quality and good looking.
