Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
This product works great. I got one exactly like it in a different color. The key is the internal battery. If you are committed to not letting it sit neglected for six months, allowing the lead-acid battery to gather sulphur deposits, then it will serve you well for up to three years. Remember, the lifetime of any lead-acid wet cell battery is three years, or more if you take care of it. I can't stress battery-care enough.
