No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchased this to use with 800 to 1200 pound diesel engines. I expected to receive a product made somewhere in North America but this one is made in China under Jets standards. The design lacks any method to keep the plate in alignment with the locking pin and the plate mounting spindle. Rotating handle is held in place with a sharp edge cotter pin. My opinion is this product is overpriced when compared to other comparable imported products made in China.
