Used for charging duties on my charter boat. This had everything I needed and was very pleased. After 14 months (5 year warranty) it stopped charging and says F03 (internal open cell) on all batteries, good, bad, full, or dead. Costs too much to ship back for repair. Will look for something else.

Worked great on a single car battery. Did not work on two 6 volt in series.

This charger is just what I expected from it...awesome product! I had the same type in the jump starters that Vector has to offer and this is a much stronger, more versatile, and lighter version without a battery inside it to haul around. I have used this heavily right out of the box and it has performed flawlessly. This charger is by far better than most farm chargers I have used in the past. It will prevent over charging, improper connection, checks for alternators output, display voltage at connection, charges Wet, Gel, and AGM batteries but you select the type. It has automatic float charging capability when charge is complete and a desulfate mode if selected for conditioning. It will detect faults with battery and display problem by codes. This charger has proved to me to recondition worn out or heavy spent batteries in top working condition as a charger could provide. Cables are of good quality and clamps are no joke for this compact charger. Its size packs a punch for what it does and is very mobile for toting around compared to large industrial charges. Don't hesitate if shopping around and just get it, you will be glad you did I’m sure.
From a very satisfied mechanic.
