Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I have used this charger to charge my boat battery and it works great! Compact in size but large on power it only took 3-4 hours to charge an almost completely dead battery back to full charge. I plan to use the charger as a battery maintainer during the off-season when I am not using the boat.
