I'd previously used a much less powerful compressor, and was anxious to upgrade to a more robust system. This particular compressor combines the mobility of a much smaller unit, with the power of something more permanent. I chose a oil-ed compressor over oil-less as longevity is more a concern for me, since it will see hard use. I've used it to blow texture and light air-brushing and it's great! It's also super fast to recharge at such a high SCFM rate.
